Starting fresh in Finland required a new office
Downing Renewable Developments already had operations in the UK and other Nordic countries. In spring 2024, the company entered the Finnish market, which also meant starting from scratch in finding the right office. One of the key criteria was a central location in the heart of Helsinki.

“We host a lot of international guests, and that was one of the main reasons we looked for an office in central Helsinki. For our visitors, it’s convenient – the airport connection by train is just a kilometer away, and good hotels and services are right next door.”
