Business Lounge

The Business Lounge, located on the first floor, is available to our tenants and other customers. You can use the lounge to meet clients informally, hold meetings in the meeting rooms, host small workshops, work, relax with a cup of coffee, or network with VillageWorks community. In the evenings, the Business Lounge is also available for corporate events.

Well-being and Community

The importance of recovery for knowledge workers is undeniable. We aim to support the well-being and recovery of our clients. Therefore, our customers have access to a dedicated recovery room next to the Business Lounge, equipped with a Neurosonic recliner. The recliner vibrates to calm the central nervous system, relieving stress, improving sleep quality, and supporting overall body recovery.

We also support well-being and community spirit through various free events for our clients, ranging from yoga and badminton club to afterwork gatherings and “paint & wine” events.

Historical Erottaja2 Building

Erottaja2 is one of the oldest building complexes in Helsinki, combining a neo-Renaissance section completed at the end of the 19th century on Erottajankatu with an Art Nouveau addition on Yrjönkatu. The building was carefully restored between 2019 and 2021, respecting its architectural heritage.The careful restoration and renovation have transformed the historic building into an eco-friendly choice for conscious organizations.

Sustainability Certificates

Erottaja2 has been granted the BREEAM Excellent environmental certificate. BREEAM is Europe’s leading eco-efficient building rating system, which assesses aspects such as project management, energy efficiency, water usage, materials, and transportation.

VillageWorks has also been granted the EcoCompass environmental certificate. This certification is proof of the organization’s commitment to environmental responsibility. It is issued to organizations that have built an EcoCompass environmental management system and passed an audit by an independent expert.

All offices can be rented either furnished or unfurnished depending on your preferences.

Can the office size be adjusted as my team grows?

When your needs evolve, you can rely on us to stay flexible. Switching to a larger or smaller office is effortless, and we’ll take care of the move for you, whether it’s within the same building or to another VillageWorks location.

Coworking

Do you offer coworking spaces in Erottaja?

At VillageWorks Erottaja2, you’ll find versatile coworking spaces. Members have access to a relaxed, café-style business lounge designed for working, as well as a more traditional coworking space with height-adjustable desks and monitors. Both spaces also feature phone booths.

With our Coworking Lounge membership, you get access to both the business lounge and the coworking space for 250€/month + VAT. The price also includes unlimited coffee and tea, invitations to events, and 2 guests per month to the business lounge.

If you’d prefer a dedicated desk in the coworking space, that’s possible too. Ask us for more details!

What is the difference between coworking and private offices?

With a private office, your company gets its own dedicated room for exclusive use, plus access to shared spaces such as lounges, kitchens, and phone booths.

Coworking members, by contrast, work in shared spaces alongside other companies and can also enjoy common areas like lounges, kitchens, and phone booths.
