VillageWorks’s story began back in 2008
VillageWorks’s story started when Khuong Le and Petja Papula founded Business Center Papula Oy to offer high-quality, flexible office spaces to businesses. As demand grew, we expanded our offering with new office hotels, which introduced a new way of working: versatile services, professional premises and a unique opportunity to network with hundreds of other companies and professionals.
In 2019, we launched the VillageWorks trade name and brand, under which our locations were brought together. The name VillageWorks refers to exactly that village community and can-do spirit that has helped us grow into one of Finland’s largest independent providers of flexible workspaces.
Finnish work, from one business to another
Today, VillageWorks is still a 100% Finnish-owned company. We employ nearly twenty people in a variety of roles, from customer service to cleaning, maintenance, finance, sales and marketing.

I came to Finland as a refugee and later received Finnish citizenship. Here I was given the opportunity to build a new life, develop my skills, and eventually become an entrepreneur. That is why I believe that in Finland anyone has the chance to build their own success story, as long as they are given the opportunity to do so.
At the same time, I have learned to value the qualities associated with Finnish work: perseverance, taking responsibility, honesty, and uncompromising quality. These are the values on which we have also built our own company.
We want to offer opportunities to skilled people, both those born in Finland and those who have moved here. We believe that a diverse work community strengthens expertise, innovation, and the competitiveness of Finnish work.
